Day 59: 2/28/2014

For a man born 92 years ago today, and for my good luck to call him my grandfather. All the adventures I remember having and for all the amazing memories I will get to share in the future with him. I cherish every single day I get to share in this world with him. Happy 92nd birthday grandpa!

For the simple joy of building your own yoghurt creation. It's winter and it's bitterly cold, but there's something magical about frozen yoghurt topped with just about anything you want

For being able to catch a glimpse of Air Force One fly over your office. To put all my knowledge of being able to decipher ATC calls and knowing when exactly they will be flying overhead is amazing. A mere few seconds made my entire week complete

For old photos of your childhood to bring back great memories. Nothing like remembering that you had it all as a child to be truly thankful for your life now as an adult

For simple pleasures of food to make my day better. In this case, some seaweed salad was enough to turn a stressful day into a day for celebration - celebrate the fact that my worries are small enough to be able to feast them away

For pets that take pleasure in cuddling their toy monkey. Nothing makes me smile as much as an animal that is at total bliss
