For a man born 92 years ago today, and for my good luck to call him my grandfather. All the adventures I remember having and for all the amazing memories I will get to share in the future with him. I cherish every single day I get to share in this world with him. Happy 92nd birthday grandpa!

For unexpected and spontaneous flights with a friend (and flight instructor). For being able to control and land an aircraft that you have never been inside of, let alone flown

For modern transportation that will get me home 1100 miles away in under 3 hours. For pre-flight checklists that will get me home safe (or at least safer)

For being given the chance to spend a night on a $40,000 bed. I am not going to say that it was the most amazing of beds, and call it the power of suggestion but it was a very restful sleep that night
