Day 137: 5/17/2014
For the chance to fly solo and knowing that you will 1) find your way back and 2) your instructor has complete confidence in you. It was a busy day at the airport (Girls in Aviation day) and it was a gorgeous day out, so it only means a congested airspace. I was proud of how well I handled myself and the situation at hand and how grateful I was for all the instruction that had prepared me up to this point

Day 72: 3/13/2014
For sunny warm calm days in the middle of Winter. Being able to enjoy and bask in the sunshine and take advantage of the ability to fly is something I will always be thankful for. Impromptu cross country flights with great company is more than I could ever hope for. Afterall, today was my first day as an "airport rat" and I actually enjoy all the company
