For strong gusting winds, sleet and snow in April. Not something to be thankful for, but I am grateful that for days as such, I am able to find my sense of humor and give nods to Mother Nature for pulling the ultimate April Fools trick

Day 88: 3/29/2014

For the simple joy of watching a dog play in the snow. There's something very innocent and childlike about how they play and commune with nature. Makes my heart smile just watching her romp around

Day 87: 3/28/2014

For a silence that is unmistakable during a heavy snowfall with big fluffy flakes. The silence was never once deafening but instead comforting. It's the same comfort of being enveloped under a warm blanket on a cold day or sipping on a warm cup of coffee by the fire

Day 77: 3/18/2014

For Lego nights while it snows outside on an almost Spring night. One never really outgrows putting together an artwork as beautiful as a Lego set. This is especially true of their Technics line and I know I can't wait for this creation to come to life

Day 24: 1/24/2014

When it was forecasted for snow this afternoon, I was upset as that meant I would not be able to fly today. This winter has been harsh to me in regards to getting up in the air and it has been frustrating to say the least. So today was especially hard to be thankful for the weather.

But I am thankful for a snowy 30 degree day and being able to spend it playing in the snow with a dog that would stay outdoors all day if I let her
